Cabinet Hardware Knobs Cabinet hardware knobs are mounted to the cabinet with a single screw or bolt. A cabinet knob can be mounted alone or with a variety of backplates to both protect the cabinet surface and to achieve a particular style combination. Cabinet knobs can be found in a variety of shapes including round, square, oval, triangular, square, rectangular, and T-shaped. Styles range from plain to nautical. See the Cabinet Hardware Overview page for the many styles available. Typically cabinet knobs are used on the cabinet doors and pulls are used on the cabinet drawers. Dimensions are typically expressed as diameter and projection. Typical sizes range from 3/4 inch to 2 inches. Don't forget to measure the mounting screw length needed.
